Generous Realtors Donate Toys During 2 Holiday Events

Many underprivileged children will be enjoying a merry Christmas this year, thanks to the Johnson Development Realtor Relations team and some very generous Realtors! 

Johnson Development — along with Fidelity National Title and HomeTrust Mortgage — hosted a Christmas toy drive (literally) Nov. 29 to benefit Child Advocates of Fort Bend (CAFB). Realtors could drive through the CAFB parking lot to drop off their toys. Those who had the time could park and say hello to Santa and Mrs. Claus — thanks to Senior VP of Houston Land Development Operations Trey Reichert and Tammy McCall for stepping into those roles. A sleighful of toys were donated for children served by the organization.

Other sponsors for the event include CBG Surveyors, Dawn Wibben, Beam Roofing, Clear Cleaning, Send Out Cards, WCR Fort Bend, Amvet Inspections, Fidelity Home Warranty and Tracy Walker State Farm.

Just a couple of days later on Dec. 1, Monica Conchola staged a first-ever Jingle Bell Market and Toy Drive in Amira. Twenty local vendors selling a variety of gift items were set up in the community’s six model homes. More than 50 Realtors stopped by, touring the models, shopping the gift items and dropping off dozens of unwrapped toys. The toys will be given to an area fire station which will take charge of distributing them throughout the local community.

The two events kicked off a month of holiday fun that includes a Gingerbread House Showdown competition, a Dashing Through the Heights home tour and the always popular Wrap Party in Woodforest. See the calendar for details on these holiday events and other happenings for Realtors this month.
