Now that Spring is here, it's time to take a look at some of the exciting events that will be happening in our beautiful city this April.

Neighborhood Night at the Movies

What's better than a night out under the stars? Not much, especially when you're with your family, watching a great movie. Don't forget to bring the picnic blankets, snacks and lawn chairs! There will be three movies this month:

Friday, April 1st, 7:30 PM @ Falcon Creek Park – Inside Out

Friday, April 15th, 7:30 PM @ Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex Phase 2 – Shaun the Sheep Movie

Friday, April 29th, 7:30 PM @ Sonntag Park – Minions

Arts in Bloom

Historic Downtown McKinney comes alive on April 9th with local and regional artists of all forms. This all day event (11 AM – 8 PM) is a great opportunity to explore the shopping district during the spring season with art, music, food and much more!

DD & The Studebakers 50s Rock-N-Roll Concert

Take it back to the 1950s with DD & The Studebakers on April 16th at 7 PM at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. Tickets are General Admission and start at $17. Enjoy songs from Chuck Berry, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Brenda Lee, Fats Domino and more! Don't forget to dress the part with greasy hair and all!

Classics on The Square Car Show

This monthly event is perfect for the car enthusiast in your family! The show is put on by the local classic car and truck enthusiast group, The Morning Maniacs, as they take over McKinney Main Street! Check out some amazing cars and trucks, enjoy some breakfast and even get in a little Saturday shopping. The event happens at 111 N. Tennessee from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM!
